Northshore Renovations and Contracting

I have lived in Mandeville for the past17 years. Northshore Renovations is the company I have used for all my renovations and repair. In 2014 I had a water leak in my wall that caused major damage. I called mike and he came out and he found the problem. We also thought we had a small rott problem on the rear of our raised home in Mandeville. My husband noticed a bunch of black ants all over our back bedroom. Upon further inspection Mike Jones and my husband found that we had a infestation of carpenter ants. Mike came up with a plan to fix our home and gave a time frame and estimate that put me at ease. It has been a pleasure to be able to give someone the key to your house and know that you are in good hands .Mike has worked for most of my neighbors and they all say that he is a pleasure to work with.

We live in Tera Bella in Covington. Mike Jones worked on our older home in Covington over the last 7 years. Our new home was a few years old and not really designed to my taste. Last summer I had the misfortune of finding out carpenter ants had invaded the front of my home. This discovery came from a painter doing painting work. Not knowing which way to turn my painter called Mike Jones to my rescue. The same day Mike was at my house surveying the damage. He guided me in what direction I needed to take. The next day Mike and his crew were at my home and the process began. They were always on time and were the neatest people that had ever worked in my home. Each evening when they left the house was clean and picked up. Mike arranged the crews and everything fell into place from the window installers, to the stucco crew, the exterminator who needed to treat all of the new construction. Within a week my home was back to normal. No one would never had known a week earlier the walls in my dining room were to the studs. Mike and his crew, Mike and Jacob were so trustworthy I would just leave a key for them when not at home. They are wonderful!!! Since that work they have done additional work for me and I am not finished with them yet. I continue to have them for future projects. On a final note, I live alone and during storm weather, the winter freeze and the marathon rains that have consumed us, Mike Jones will always call and check on me to be sure I am ok. He reassures me to call anytime day or night if there is a problem. I feel that God sent me my own Guardian Angel to protect my home. Thanks Mike, Mike and Jacob!!!!

Mike Jones with Northshore Renovations has been working on my home for over twelve years. He has renovated most of our house. Michael Jones and North Shore Renovations are fantastic. They completely renovated my house, inside and out, slab to ceiling, and I couldn’t be happier. Michael worked with me to make my vision come true and brought it in under budget. Michael had some wonderful suggestions, things I hadn’t even thought of, which made it even better. His workers were prompt, neat, honest and skilled. If there was a problem, Michael solved it. He doesn’t know the meaning of “can’t”. I’d lived in this house since 1989 and never renovated anything before. When I retired I knew something had to be done to make the place truly my home. Before I hired North Shore Renovations, I checked with other contractors. Mostly what I got was hustle. Michael was always down to earth and enthusiastic. When I checked his references, they all said the same things, “excellent work” and “We’d trust him with our keys.” The transformation from “before” to “after” is amazing.

Mike Jones and his people did an outstanding job renovating our house. All of his workers and subs were on the job all day every day. Their work was done in an efficient and professional manner. I felt that Mike’s charges were competitive and there were few if any surprise charges. We would not hesitate to hire Mike again.

Mike Jones helped us with the renovation and repair of our hundred year old Covington home. We were satisfied with the level of performance and attention to detail given by Mike and his crew with the sometimes difficult and tedious process. He was also empathetic and service oriented.

My husband and I have lived in Madisonville for 20 years and have used Northshore Renovations twice. Our first experience was about 10 – 12 years ago, when Michael Jones and his crew rebuilt porches on our raised Acadian style home and did interior painting and coordinated the removal of carpeting and the installation of tile and brick flooring with a flooring company. They did an excellent job! Earlier this year, Michael and his crew did extensive repair work to the exterior of home which had wood – rot and squirrel damage. They also repaired and repainted our two porches. The house looks like new. For each job, Mike and his crew were prompt, professional and very reasonable with the costs of the repairs. He also provided estimates in a very timely manner and was always available to answer any questions. The work was always completed in the time frame which was specified at the start of each project. Mike’s years of experience and contact base was also helpful in recommending others suggestions and contacts. It has also been very refreshing that Mike has continued to follow up to make sure that we were satisfied and not having any problems with his work, he take a great deal of pride in his work. I would highly recommend Northshore Renovations for any interior and exterior home repair projects. Mike and his crew made what can often be a homeowners nightmare of trying to complete home repairs with qualified skilled craftsmen, a very easy process.

Mike Jones of Northshore Renovations has been doing repair, renovation and remodeling on our home in Beau Chene for over 20 years.
